On April 12, 2026, we ran a beach clean-up at Sanur Beach in Denpasar with 17 volunteers.

Ninety Minutes, 117 Kilograms
In just an hour and a half the team collected 117 kg of waste, the majority of it plastic. Sanur is one of the busiest stretches of coast on the island, which is exactly why the numbers add up so quickly there.
Room to Do More
A beach this heavily used needs more hands than seventeen. With greater community involvement we could clear far more in the same window, and that is the goal. Clean-ups like this one are also the most direct way we know to make the case for responsible waste management in the places most exposed to it.
