A solid crew of 25 volunteers met up at Jerman Beach in Badung on January 25, 2026. By the time the work was done, the team had cleared 157 kilograms of trash off the sand.

Our main goal revolved around grabbing as much junk as possible before the tide could pull it out to sea. Seeing that massive 157 kg pile at the end really highlighted how much of a difference we made for the local marine life. Once the plastic was gone, the whole beach just looked right again.

It felt great to see everyone jumping in to help out. Since this beach is such a big part of daily life here in Bali, a group of us showed up just to take care of it. Working together like this reminds us that we can actually keep our favorite spots healthy and clean.
