On August 21, 2026, we were back at Jerman Beach in Badung, a stretch of coast we have cleaned more than once before.
A Visiting Group Joins In
The morning brought a large partner group down to the sand alongside our own volunteers. Turnouts like this are the easiest way to reach people who have never done a clean-up before — most arrive expecting a beach morning and leave with a much sharper sense of what washes up here.
A Beach We Keep Coming Back To
Jerman is a recurring name in our records, and that is the nature of a working shoreline near the airport: it fills up again. Returning is not a sign the previous clean-ups failed. It is what maintaining a coastline actually looks like.
