Seven volunteers headed to SD 2 Bebandem in Karangasem, on November 16 to spend a morning with 35 students, focusing on the future of our environment. The team introduced the kids to the reality of waste awareness and showed them exactly what responsible habits look like in the real world.

Turning Lessons into Action

We ditched the boring lectures and focused on making the environment feel like something that actually matters in their day-to-day lives. It was cool to see how quickly the kids realized that their own choices even something as simple as where they put their trash have a real impact on their neighborhood. By the time we finished, those 35 students walked away seeing exactly how their own small actions can help protect the world around them.

Building Habits That Last

The whole idea was to plant a seed of responsibility that grows right along with them. We wanted to show these kids that they don’t have to wait until they’re grown up to make a difference even small, simple steps every day can have a huge impact. Watching them get so fired up about it was a great reminder that if we can teach kids to respect nature now, we’re pretty much guaranteeing a cleaner, better future for everyone.
