On June 23, 2024, a small but solid crew of 14 people, a mix of local residents and volunteers, got together in Amed to give the area a much-needed deep clean. It wasn’t just a formal chore; it was really about neighbors showing up for each other and taking care of the place they call home.

Working Together

The best part was seeing everyone jump in and share the load. Working side-by-side made the job go fast and showed a real, collective commitment to keeping Amed beautiful. It’s that kind of teamwork that reminds you how much people actually care about their community.

The Final Haul

Today we cleaned up the neighborhood in Amed with a small crew of 14 people. By the time it got hot out, we had already cleared 78 kilograms of trash. You could actually see the difference immediately once the junk was gone, the whole area just looked like it could breathe again.

A Greener Mindset

Getting the trash out of there felt great, but the real win was seeing people start to actually care. By the time we finished, everyone walked away feeling a lot more protective of the area. It just goes to show that a single morning of hard work can really set the tone for a cleaner, healthier future for the whole community.
