Today we were at Seraya Village right after the Melasti ceremony to help get everything back in shape. It was a huge team effort, with 70 people from the community stepping up to make sure we didn't leave a trace behind. It felt good to see everyone come together like that to keep the place looking right.
Clearing the Crowd's Footprint
With so many people gathering for the ceremony, there was a lot to do. Our crew managed to haul away 164 kg of plastic waste along with another 100 kg of general trash—mostly those single-use plastic cups. It was a lot of bending and lifting, but seeing the village clean again made it all worth it.
Strength in Numbers
Having 70 people show up made everything so much easier. Tasks that usually would’ve taken us days to finish were done in a single morning just because everyone jumped in to help. It was a perfect way to show that we can celebrate our traditions while still looking after the land we live on.

Leaving the Village Better
By the time we finished, the streets and ceremonial areas were spotless. It felt good to know that after such an important spiritual event, we did our part to keep the environment healthy. It was a solid reminder that taking care of our home is a team effort.
