Volunteers engaged 80 elementary school students from grades 1 to 3 in an educational session at SDN 1 Punggul on October 4, 2025, with the support of 19 volunteers.

Learning Through Creativity

Students created savings banks from used plastic bottles and bracelets from recycled plastic waste, turning discarded materials into useful and decorative items. Alongside these activities, they learned the basic differences between organic and inorganic waste.

Simple Explanations for Young Minds

Because the participants were young, volunteers used simple games and analogies—such as explaining how waste can cause flooding—to help them visualize real-life impacts in an accessible way.

Reinforcing the Lesson

At the end of the session, the students gathered for interactive games designed to test and reinforce their understanding of waste and environmental awareness.
