OceanHero held an educational session on November 1, 2025, at SMAN 1 Negara in Jembrana, located in the western part of Bali. The session ran from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and brought together student council members along with teacher representatives.
Building Awareness on Waste Segregation
The discussion focused on the urgency of waste segregation and the role individuals and schools can play in creating a more sustainable environment. With 51 participants involved, the session emphasized that effective waste management starts within everyday surroundings, including school communities.

Developing Student Initiatives
At the end of the session, students were divided into two groups and tasked with developing their own initiatives to address waste-related issues and improve their school environment. The activity encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and ownership of environmental responsibility.
The session highlighted the importance of empowering students to take an active role in shaping more sustainable practices within their schools.
