On February 7, 2026, we headed back to Sekolah Torrevieja in Tabanan, but this time, we kept things cozy. Sometimes the most powerful lessons happen in small circles, and this focused session was proof of that.

With a dedicated team of 8 volunteers and 15 curious students, we traded a big lecture for a real conversation. We sat down together to chat about the different types of waste—what they are, where they go, and why it matters. It wasn't just us talking at them; it was a lively back-and-forth that showed just how much these kids already care about their island.

Turning "Trash" into Treasure

To wrap things up, we rolled up our sleeves for some hands-on magic. Using recycled plastic, the children got creative, transforming everyday waste into unique pieces of art. It’s one thing to hear about waste management, but it’s another thing entirely to hold a piece of plastic and realize it has a second life.

It was a morning of quiet focus and loud creativity—the perfect way to inspire a new generation of OceanHeroes.
