Volunteers gathered at Kampoeng Kepiting, under the highway area, on September 20, 2025, to mark World Clean Up Day with a focused clean-up action. The activity involved 12 participants, including university students and members of the local community.
Responding to Flood Impact
Recent flash floods had left a large volume of waste in the area, blocking waterways that lead to the ocean. The clean-up aimed to remove this debris and reduce the risk of further pollution reaching coastal ecosystems.

Clean-Up Results
Through coordinated teamwork, the group collected 146 kilograms of waste in a single session, helping restore the area and improve water flow.
Collective Action in Practice
The activity demonstrated how organized community efforts can make a direct and measurable contribution to protecting Bali’s environment.
